The story falls right in line with other COW games. This game is one of the best titles on the PSP. The action is intense and fast paced. I bought this game to help keep me occupied for a long international trip. I couldn't put it down once I started.
I'm not a "gamer" and I don't usually play a lot of video games but when my kids purchased a psp for me 2 yrs. The action is quick, surprising at times, and the scenes a little breathtaking. I'm a 54 yr. My waiting was over and it is everything I expected it to be. I couldn't put it down for days after I first got it. ago on a birthday I was in awe. You can finish it in about 5-6 hrs of steady play and beat it.
If you enjoy that type of game (God knows I love the story line and the music) you will not be dissapointed when you purchase this game. old grandma. Greek mythology is one of my passions and may be the reason for my love of this particular game series. I purchased the Chains of Olympus game without hesitation, already having played GOW one & two, I was a little anxious to get this one. The only downside to this game is it is short lived. It is colorful and it is BIG. You'll enjoy it too.
Hands down the best action game on PSP. A must own, a must play. A lot of fun, very good plot, great visuals.
The first game by Jaffe was simply amazing. The executable combo attacks is actually improved on the PSP. I really enjoyed this game. The part that makes the GOW series so amazing is the seemingly seamless transition from one level to the next; this is the same for this game. As for additional content, given the limitations of the UMD, I can forgive them for the lack of. The level design on the first game has not been matched on the subsequent games. On the PSP, the control aspect has not been compromised; in fact, you start to wonder why this scheme couldn't have been implemented on the previous versions.
It seems the challenge levels were thrown in to qualify for some points. I gave the game a 4 star overall because it felt very straight forward like GOW2. As with the previous two, there is not much replay value, once you've completed the game on the hardest setting and the challenge level, then nothing really makes you want to revisit the game. For instance, in GOW1 the game tempo from running about in the desert to conquering a city on top of a titan's back, then inside this city is a city sized puzzle, so on and so on is simply an art. The boss fights like GOW2 are very simple taking on the multi-staged fights, which can get pretty old after a while. Multiplayer.bub-kiss, nada. In conclusion, if you have a PSP, I highly recommend this game as part of your collection.
I really enjoyed this game and the graphics are awesome. The reviews I have read really live up to the expectations.
